Pennard House is located in the village of East Pennard, deep in the Somerset countryside. We’ll be at the one venue all day, so once you’re here you can relax! There is ample parking on site for those driving, with quick links to the M5 or A303. The closest train station is Castle Cary (15 minutes drive).

Our wedding is set in a beautiful rural location, and we’d love for you to stay nearby so you can fully enjoy the celebrations—right to the last dance! With good food, great company, and plenty of fun in store, we don’t want anyone rushing off early. There are lots of lovely places to stay nearby, from cosy cottages, to AirBnb’s and local hotels, so we’ve put together some recommendations to help you find the perfect spot. Book early to secure your stay, and let’s make a whole night of it!

Travel & Taxis

If you’re driving, there is parking on-site, more than enough for all our guests. It is a minute’s walk between the car park and the ceremony area. You are welcome to leave your car and come and collect it the next day, by 10:30 am.

For those planning to enjoy the celebrations to the fullest (as we hope you will!), we recommend booking a taxi in advance to take you back to your accommodation at the end of the night. We’ve listed some local reliable taxi firms that the venue has recommended to make things easier — book early to avoid a last-minute scramble!
